Opulence

Sometimes we get bogged down in all the fancy! Fancy stones, diamantes and all that jazz… but more doesn’t always equal amazing.

And I think that is something we should all remind ourselves of.

Today’s costume may look fancy, but in all honesty it is all glitter and a couple of stones.

What really makes the leotard is the lace, having good lace makes all the difference.

I could easily go over the top and probably add way more stones but in all honesty it doesn’t need it. However, the one thing that should always be top of mind, is that we don’t look at costumes from up close. We see them form a distance on a stage under stage lights. So when you are making your own costumes, remember to always look at them from a distance and get your spotlight out to check out that sparkle.
